THE NEEDS
Do you know what you really need or what you really want from life???
If yes, then you must be happy and you should keep chasing.....But sometimes,we just dont know what we really need... Something like this happened to me few days ago...
It was a day cricket fans like me will always remember...India beat Srilanka in the final to lift the Compaq Cup and the Hero was none other than the master himself,Sachin Tendulkar...
I was glued to the tv in our hostel common room when Sachin was displaying his superb class...
I was almost sitting there for nearly two hours and enjoying the contest...
But,in the mean while,I felt bad, terribly bad...I was choking...my eyes were on tv screen, but I could not watch it properly...I was only hearing the screaming of my friends...my mind had almost stopped working...Sachin was about to score another century...still then why i was not enjoying the game...I missed something which I did not know...
Thankfully, one of my friends, sitting next to me, asked me if i needed water...I nodded...then drank a full bottle of cold water...haaaaaaa......
Oh my God!...I was back to normal..!!!
After some time.....
A punch off Mendis past mid off took Sachin to 99 ,and a single pinched through cover took him to three figures for the 44th time... A raise of the arms...A wave of the bat to the dressing room...A lingering look at the heavens...
By that time all of us in our common room were standing on our feet and screaming out of sheer joy...I was feeling ecstatic...I thought that I were in Heaven as I was looking @ GOD himself in the form of SACHIN !!!
I must say all of my joy would have vanished if I didnt get that bottle of water ...!!!...Infact,all I needed that moment was water!
Well,it was just a small incident...but the lesson I learnt from it holds true for bigger things in life also...
So,make sure what you really want...then go for it...it is as simple as that...
